Reid N Sweets Contract Agreement

Invoice/ Orders

All orders are required to place a 50% down payment. Orders will not be fulfilled if a down payment is not received 7 days prior to pickup/delivery. If the customer changes the original pickup/delivery date, additional fees may apply and prices are subject to change. The 50% down payment is non-refundable if you cancel 6 days prior to pickup/ delivery.  We highly recommend placing your order 2-3 weeks in advance to secure your date. There is a $25 rush fee added to orders placed less than 7 days in advance, and a $50 rush fee is added to orders placed within 48 hours of pickup/delivery. All rush orders (7 days or less) must be paid in full at the time of order. We accept Square, Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal as methods of payment. Payment(s) through Square, Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal validates your signature and agreement to the Terms of Services of this contract.  Securing full or partial payment also confirms that you agree that certain creative changes may be made to your final design for the sake of stability, structural integrity, or other certain emergencies.

Please note: If the 50% down payment not received within 7 days prior to pickup/ delivery a $25 convenience fee will be added to your balance to reinstate your confirmed order date. 

Cancellations/ Changes

Changes to your order (size, description, flavors, etc.) will be accepted until 1 week prior to the event date. After that lockout date, we cannot accept any changes. No monies will be refunded in the event your order decreases in size or intricacy.

Designs/ Colors

Inspiration photos are welcome, however, please understand Reid N Sweets does not directly replicate the exact design as other bakers. Reid N Sweets is not allowed to duplicate any character or design under the copywriter law. This include anything produced by Disney, Pixar, Dreamwork, or any other production with a trade mark. If you wish to have something of that design your order will need to be placed four weeks in advance to go through proper legal documentation for approval. You may also purchase the desired item (toy, character, or figurine) you would like on the order, and I must receive it one week prior to the completion date.  If a specific color is desired, please bring in a swatch of fabric, so the color can replicate desired tones and hues. Food color reacts differently; therefore, it changes after sitting for more than 6 hours. In addition, photography can make colors appear differently as well. Reid N Sweets will do its best to match the desired theme, color or design; however, it is not a complete guarantee to match you inspiration photos. 

Food Quality

Our goal is to provide the highest quality food with a delicious taste as our safety standards far exceed the criteria for the local health department, state health department, and FDA. Menu items include milk products (butter, buttermilk, heavy cream, half & half, sour cream, cream cheese, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, aged cheese, pasteurized cheese, and processed cheese), chocolate, soy, wheat, food coloring (dye), fish and shellfish, tree nuts (coconuts, peanuts, pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, macadamias), and decorative glitters/dusts (luster dust, disco dust, twinkle dust, sparkle dust, highlighter, shimmer powder, pearl dust, and petal dust). Please inform us if you or anyone you know has food allergies at the time that you place your order.

Order Pickup/ Delivery

All orders must be picked up at the scheduled pick-up time.  If orders are not picked up in a timely manner, we will consider that as you have canceled your order. Our delivery fee is $2.50 per mile; however, event venue deliveries start at $50. If delivery is not prepaid in your invoice, your order will not be delivered. It is confirmed that you are satisfied with the presentation of your order upon pickup/delivery. If you have any issues regarding your order during pick-up/delivery, you must let the company know at that time as we are not responsible for product(s) thereafter. However, communication is very important to Reid N Sweets, so any pick up or delivery changes can be discussed in advance if changes need to be made.

Before serving your treats, store it in a cool place away from bright lights. If you choose to place your buttercream cake in the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature, please note that the air can cause condensation which may cause the cake to bleed and melt. Also, fondant cakes may sweat and begin to sag when refrigerated and brought to room temperature. We suggest placing cakes in a cool place, so that they will remain dry. Reid N Sweets, LLC is not responsible for weather conditions and the outcome of treats after leaving the Reid N Sweets, LLC bakery.
